  • Are your escape rooms scary?
    Our escape rooms are not extreme horror rooms. We would describe some of the rooms as atmospheric or a 'bit spooky'.
  • What should I wear?
    Wear comfortable clothing and footwear. Bags and coats can be stored in our lockers at no cost.
  • Are the escape rooms physically demanding?
    Escape rooms require brain power not physical strength. Some of our puzzles do require players to control things with their hands but there is no heavy lifting or climbing needed.
  • Can I take photos and video in the escape rooms?
    You are not permitted to use mobiles or cameras during the game - we want to ensure our puzzles remain a mystery for future guests. When the game is finished a team photo can be taken.
  • Are the escape games suitable for children?
    Our escape rooms are quite challenging experiences so we recommend children play alongside adults. We think children 10 and over will enjoy the games more than younger children but parents are the best judges so we leave that to you. Children under the age of 13 should play alongside at least one adult. Please read specific guidance in our room descriptions and feel free to contact us with any questions.
  • Is food and drink allowed in the escape rooms?
    Food and drinks aren't allowed in the rooms for safety and hygiene reasons. In addition, it is recommended not to consume alcohol prior to participating in an escape room. We reserve the right to refuse entry to players who appear intoxicated.
  • Will we be given hints?
    Help is available and your gamesmaster will discuss how hints are delivered to your team.
  • How long does the experience last?
    The whole experience will last around 80 minutes which includes a 15 minute introduction, up to 60 minutes game time, and a 5 minute debrief at the end.
  • What is the maximum number of people that can play in one escape room?
    Our rooms are optimized for teams of 4 to 6 players. However we do allow slightly larger groups. Plague (8) Electric City (7) Armageddon (7) Witch (7).
  • Will there be other people in the escape rooms apart from my team?
    No, our policy is that bookings are private for your team only.
  • What happens if I arrive late?
    We recommend arriving 15-20 minutes before the scheduled start time. In order to avoid disruption once the game has begun we do not allow late entry. There are no refunds for late arrivals so please plan accordingly.
  • Can I book the escape rooms for a large group or corporate event?
    Yes of course. Up to 28 people can play at once across our four rooms. We can start all the games off at the same time to provide a team competition. Please contact us and we will be happy to arrange a personalised event for your group.
  • Is the door actually locked?
    Yes the doors are locked and will only open on solving the final puzzle or when the 60 minutes is up. In an emergency all doors open automatically.
  • Can I cancel a reservation?
    Unfortunately tickets are non-refundable. However if you need to reschedule in the event of an emergency, please call at least 24 hours in advance and we will do our best to accommodate you.
  • Do I need a reservation to enjoy the escape rooms?
    Yes, games should be booked and paid for in advance either using our website or by phone. For short notice bookings please call us.
  • What time should I arrive?
    Please arrive in good time for your booking. You should arrive 15 to 20 minutes before the game start time.
  • Are the escape rooms accessible for wheelchair users?
    Our rooms are on the 2nd and 3rd floors and unfortunately the building doesn't have a lift.
  • Are the escape rooms small and claustrophobic?
    All our games are quite spacious and comprise of multiple rooms so you shouldn't feel uncomfortable, but if you did then we can let you out straightaway.
