The Magic Bottles
AN OUTDOOR ADVENTURE FOR FAMILIES IN THE HISTORIC TOWN OF ALNWICK
The Magic Bottles is inspired by the legend of the Dirty Bottles. The bottles, still visible in the window of the Dirty Bottles pub in Alnwick are said to be cursed. Two hundred years ago the then landlord dropped down dead after touching them. His wife sealed them up and they haven’t been touched since … until now!
The Magic Bottles
The game skilfully blends this local legend with a Harry Potter inspired plot where the players take the role of young wizards taking on a variety of challenges to win ingredients for the spell to put the curse back in the bottle and save the town. The tasks are varied, from logic problems and numerical challenges to word based and visual puzzles, as well as fun selfie challenges. They also range in difficulty so both parents and younger players can enjoy the challenges.
